Every 20 years, there is a huge energy shift that can affect the flying stars chart of the house. We were in period 8 (1984-2024) and we’re going into period 9 (2024-2044). If you do any of the following: remodeling, leave for 90 days or more (and turn off the utilities), and open a skylight, it’ll change the energy of your home and bring it into period 9. This means that your home will be completely different energy than what you have now.

2024 is the beginning of Period 9. In Feng Shui, there are 9, 20-year cycles. The next period, period 1, begins February 4, 2045. This date marks the beginning of the 20-year cycle. During this time, the permanent energy in your home will be affected. This could be a good thing or more challenging. If you plan to move, do construction or are staying in your existing home, I will definitely recommend a consultation in 2024 to make sure that everything is set up to ensure success with money, health, and relationships.

Onto the year of the Wood Dragon. It begins February 4, 2024. The following energies in the eight directions, will be felt by occupants, this year, if you are: sleeping to any of the directions described below, walking in and out of doors facing these directions, work facing these directions, your stove knobs face the direction indicated and you cook a lot, spending long periods of time sitting down facing these directions and if your home or business faces the indicated directions below. If your home and front door faces the direction described below it’s more powerful. The same is true for businesses and main entrances that face the directions below.

The North is being visited by the “8” energy indicating, great success in business, career advancements, increase in salary or money flow, real estate success, and financial advancements. If your home faces North (between 352.6-22.5), and you moved in or did a major remodel after 2004, it’ll be doubly lucky for making money! If you’re a 1, 3, 4, or 9 Gua living in this home, you’ll really feel the positive influences of this annual energy! Enjoy the ride because it’ll be a fun one.

In the West, the “5” energy visits, indicating trouble with money, health, and relationships. If you’re sleeping to this direction, face this direction while working and/or have a front door or frequently used door that faces West, and you moved in or did a major remodel after 2004, consider using alternative doors or bed directions. It may or may not be minor mishaps that are easy to recover from. If you’re a 6 or a 7 Gua living in this home, you’ll be heavily protected from the troublemaker energy!

In the South, the annual “7” energy visits, indicating teeth, throat and lung issues, business deals falling through, sweet talking con men, younger men that are hustlers, hopelessness, people owing you money and not paying you back, and stealing. If the overall Feng Shui of your home is good, the annual energy is there as a precaution. Just be mindful of who you interact with. Make sure you have contracts for all business dealings. When getting into romantic relationships, make sure you research your date to avoid any “dirty John” situations. This energy affects 2, 8, 7, or 6 Gua’s more than the other Gua numbers.

In the Southeast, the “2” energy visits, indicating sickness, health issues with stomach, digestion, reproductive organs or mid-section of the body. Also, it can indicate depression. Also, if you’re a 9 Gua this energy can really be felt so make sure to use alternate doors, sleep to alternate directions and avoid facing this direction when sitting down.

The Northeast is visited by the “6” energy. It indicates working hard for your money. If you moved in or did renovations after, December 2023, and your home faces northeast between 52.6-67.5 degrees, your overall energy is excellent. You’ll have a year of working hard but it will pay off! It’s even more beneficial for 6, 2, 8, or 7 Gua’s.

In the East, the annual “1” energy is visiting. It’s excellent for money, people that have careers in sales, shipping, finance, computer, and engineers. If you moved in after 2004, and your home faces East between 67.6-82.5 degrees, it’ll be double lucky this year for money! If you’re a 1, 3, 4, or 9 gua it’s extremely lucky too!

In the Southwest, the annual “9” energy is visiting. It’s excellent for future money luck (investments in real estate, stock market, IRA, 401 (K), etc.), promotions in the workplace, marriage, and celebrations.

In the Northwest, the annual “4” energy is visiting. It’s excellent for romance, travel, writing, publishing, meeting and keeping new partner.
